JOB SUMMARY: The Tax Manager is responsible for preparing income tax provisions and workpapers to support filing of federal and state income tax returns.  The role will assist in managing the tax account balances and quarterly reconciliations for tax accounts. They will support tax planning, reporting, and compliance functions. They will support the preparation of all corporate tax filings and reporting in compliance with all required regulations.

  • Manage tax provision process
  • Work with outsourced advisors in preparation of federal and state tax returns
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits
  • Prepare quarterly tax estimates and arrange for payments to be made
  • Reconcile tax accounts
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks
  • Manage compliance with internal controls

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year, accredited institution, Accounting or Finance degrees preferred
  • Minimum 4 years’ professional tax experience
  • Public accounting experience is strongly preferred
  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to exercise competence, diligence, and a proper understanding of financial information
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Sound independent judgement
