Technical Product Manager - Solar Lending

JOB SUMMARY:  We are looking to hire a Technical Product Manager that is responsible for managing our development projects in our solar lending division. We are looking for candidates with excellent communication, project management skills, and technical know-how to manage our growing offerings of solar products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work closely with users to understand their problems, needs, preferences, and business context.
  • Translate the business needs into detailed requirements.
  • Coordinate, plan, and track the execution of the development road map.
  • Manage the assignments and prioritization of tasks for development and QA contractors and staff.
  • Own and develop your own understanding of the rapidly growing and evolving solar finance industry
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience and a track record of solving tough, technical problems
  • Ability to learn new frameworks, new environments, and new technologies.
  • Experience manage software projects through JIRA or comparable tool.
  • Experience working with Gitlab or similar code repository.
  • Proficiency in React, PHP, or comparable languages.
  • Must be comfortable working on Linux operating systems.
  • Experience working with AWS a plus.
  • Experience working on development projects for consumer lending is a plus
  • Highly motivated business professional, able to thrive in a small-team environment
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
